Mohammed S. Alrai is the President and CEO of RAI Energy. With over 22 years of experience in the energy sector, Mohammed has led the development of both international and national large solar and energy storage projects. He began his career in the energy industry working with natural gas plants at Calpine, where he learned the business of energy development.

In 2010, Mohammed moved into renewable energy development with BP Solar, where he became an early believer in the promise of renewable energy. He has been recognized as an innovative thinker around ways to maximize renewable energy in the power sector. Mohammed has also served as Senior Vice President at Oregon LNG, Head of Regional Development at BP Solar, and Senior Vice President of Business and Project Development at Regenerate Power.

As the President and CEO of RAI Energy, Mohammed drives strategy and operations across all aspects of the business. He also serves on the Board of Directors for San Francisco Bay-area installer Highlight Solar and the Citizens Advisory Board for community choice aggregator Orange County Power Authority. With his extensive experience in the energy sector and his commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, Mohammed is dedicated to leading RAI Energy to success.
