Mark Juergensen is Vice President of Project Development at RAI Energy, bringing over 25 years of experience in renewable and traditional power development, M&A, power contracting, asset management, and technology commercialization to the company. Mark has been instrumental in the development, asset management, and finance of 720 MW renewable projects in the Western US, resulting in 640 MW of the projects being awarded power purchase agreements (PPAs).

Mark’s background in the electric industry encompasses all facets of the industry, including ISO operations, interconnects, design, permitting, and power purchase agreements. He has also been active in the California electric industry, participating in leading industry groups. Prior to joining RAI Energy, Mark has held various roles, including Director at Sterling Energy International, Inc., Principal of CleanTech Energy, Inc., and co-founder of Predict Power.

In addition to his extensive industry experience, Mark is also a retired Navy Commander from the USNR, adding to his diverse background. He also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, which provides him with a strong technical foundation for his role as Vice President of Project Development at RAI Energy. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Mark is well-equipped to drive RAI Energy’s project development efforts forward.
